The Pacific Chamber Orchestra under Maestro Lawrence Kohl performs Brahms’ breathtaking Symphony #1 and Elgar’s sumptuous Concerto for Cello and Orchestra with PCO principal cellist Nina Flyer. It took Brahms ten years to complete his monumental and romantic first Symphony. Nina Flyer has toured, recorded and taught throughout Europe and America. She is a professor of cello and chamber music and member of the acclaimed in-residence piano trio, Trio 180, at the University of the Pacific, Conservatory of Music. She records frequently for the TV and Motion Picture Industry, and performs with the San Francisco Symphony.

Bankhead Theater

Since it opened in 2007, the Bankhead Theater has welcomed a diverse range of artists and audiences, bringing them together to share the rich experience of live performance.
