Pacific Chamber Orchestra under Maestro Lawrence Kohl performs Bach’s brilliant Orchestra Suite #3 and a Harpsichord Concerto with Bay Area virtuoso harpsichordist Michael Peterson. The concert opens with a few composers from the Italian, German and French schools that influenced JS Bach. Then, a harpsichord Concerto by one of his most well known son: JC Bach. The concert culminates with JS Bach's grand Orchestra Suite #3 with the music famous Air on a G String.

About Michael Peterson

Harpsichordist Michael Peterson has performed nationally and internationally as a soloist and chamber musician. His repertoire spans nearly five hundred years, with an emphasis on music from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Many of his current and most recent projects are based on music from the high Baroque, including works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Georg Frideric Händel, and Domenico Scarlatti.

After the concert, please join us for a reception at 4:00pm. Following the reception, there will be dinner at Uncle Yu's, located at 39 S Livermore Avenue, Livermore, CA.
